United Agility Champion!

Good evening!
I have had quite an eventful 2015! So far I have competed in two different United Kennel Club (UKC) Agility Trails.  one was in Hutchinson Kansas on the weekend of January 10th.  The other weekend was this weekend (February 7th) here at my home club in Tulsa, OK.

I only needed 28 points, with 8 points in AGII and 20 points in anything (AGI or AGII).  While I was in Hutchinson, my younger sister got to come along too. It turns out she was pretty well behaved.  I thought she would whine and bark and carry on, but she hung out in her crate and cheered me on.  It was a little bit of a hectic drive up there, but once we got there I was so excited to see snow on the ground.  I rolled and rolled and played in the snow! I think mom has some pictures, but I am barktating my blog on a different computer than she uploads pictures to so maybe she can edit them in later.  Penny, my little sister, wasn't sure about the snow, but I LOVED it !!

My first run in Hutchinson, well I was a little distracted by all t4 he snow outside, and I think maybe the judge was too.  When mom had me go to the start line he told my mom wait just a second, well it wound up being about 4 minutes and my mind wandered  to the snow and I was a bit distracted.  Well I had one more run for my first day and it went a bit better, but I only earned a score of 195, which earned me 0 points.  We got to spend the night with my Grandpa Hackler. It was the first time I got to meet him and hang out at his house.  He also has a dog named, spot.  We had a great time hanging out and playing.  On the second day, I earned a perfect 200 on my first run which earned me 10 points.  My second run had a slight error, which resulted in a score of 195 which again was 0 points.

This weekend, all I needed was 16 points in anything.  My mom entered me in AGI and AGII.  yesterday both my mom and I were feeling a big "off".  Neither one of us slept very well.  The course setup was great, we just weren't on our A game.  On the 3 runs I had yesterday, I earned a score of 0 (NQ), 195 which was 0 points, 195 which was 0 points, and 198 which was 6 points.  Today I started the day with a score of 197 which was 4 points, followed by 200 (4th place finish) which was 10 points, then a 0 (NQ because of weaves).  I ended the day with a perfect score of 200 in AGII with a 2nd place finish which gave me 10 more points.

I easily earned my UACH (United Agility Champion) Title this weekend! It was very hard! I am quite proud of myself.
